Information: The Elephant Village has 18 elephants, two males, 16 females and one baby elephant. On arrival at the elephant camp you will meet the elephants. Then you have the chance to buy bunches of bananas and feed elephants. You can watch the elephants taking their daily bath in the stream before beginning to demonstrate logging techniques used in the jungle. You will be surprised by their strength and clever team work.

Then you can climb on board the back of an elephant and ride through the jungle to visit a nearby village. This elephant ride takes about 1 hour for round trip. This is an unforgettable elephant ride. After the elephant ride you may have your lunch at the camp.

Information: This hill is found 1.5km to the west of Hua Hin. A trip up the steep road to the top provides a scenic view of the town, beach, Gulf of Thailand and the Royal Hua Hin Golf Course. There is a small park on the hilltop with trails leading to the various viewpoints.

Information: One of the most popular areas around Hua Hin is Khao Takiab. The twin hills of Khao Takiab (Chopstick Hills) are visible to the south down the beach from Hua Hin and one can also make out the 20 meter tall Buddha image at the base of the hills. The walk along the beach is guaranteed to test your ankles.

From the temple (Wat Khao Lad) atop the hill, Singhtoh Island, about 800 meters offshore can be seen and boats to the island can be chartered from either the Hua Hin pier or the small fishing village at Khao Takiab. Be careful of the monkeys wandering the lower grounds of the temple. They're not fierce but enjoy grabbing eyeglasses and pens. The Khao Takiab area now boasts an increasing number of guesthouses, small hotels, resorts and quiet restaurants.

Information: Built as a summer palace by King Rajakhipok (Rama VII) for his Queen Rambai Barni, Wang Klai Kangwon, remains the home of HM King Bhumipol, HM Queen Sirikit when in Prachuab Kiri Khan and neighbouring provinces. Now long after this royal seaside retreat became popularised among commoners, it's open to the public when royalty's not in residence.

Information: The Hua Hin railway station is one of oldest railway station in Thailand. Its most striking feature is the unique Royal Waiting Room in Thai architectural style. The Royal Waiting Room was built in the reign of King Rama VI in order to welcome the King and his entourage.

The outstanding feature of the station is the pavilion constructed in the reign of King Rama VI; it was originally named as "Plub Pla Sanamchan", and it was initially situated at Sanamchan Palace in Nakorn Pathom Province. The Royal Waiting Room, the original building built in the same architectural style as Maruekkhathayawan Palace, stands adjacent to the station,and is a favourite spot for taking pictures for both Thai and foreign tourists.

This train station is the attractive site in Hua Hin that you should never miss. Behind the Railway Station to the west stands the Royal Hua Hin Golf Course, the first ever in Thailand.
