Man flinging cow dung at PM's home jailed for 10 days

Bangkok, March 9 -  A Thai court on Tuesday handed down a 20-day jail term to a man who flung bagged cow dung at the Bangkok residence of Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva, but the sentence was commuted to 10 days after his confession.

Bangkok, March 10 - The Bank of Thailand (BoT) on Wednesday decided to maintain its policy interest rate at 1.25 per cent per annum and will consider adjusting it to normal levels during the next meeting on April 21 if no incident likely to severely affect the economy occurs.
